Belgium - Flobert - Rimfire - Shotgun - 9 mm flobert

This classic small shotgun, also nicknamed ‘braconnier’ (poacher), is a LECLERC type rifle with a serpentine key, calibre 9 mm Flobert. It has the following BE Lg hallmarks: Starred ELG in a crowned oval: acceptance - post 1893. Starred P (upside down): controller’s countermark, post 1877. Perron: inspection post 1853 FL 9: calibre 9 mm Flobert It also has the manufacturer’s marking (pointed triangle with rounded top with the letters EGL) by Edgard GRIMARD, already mentioned on the site. The crowned D mark should be the barrel manufacturer’s, in my opinion, O. DELCOUR de Nessonvaux
