An Israeli Galil AR, this type was the standard version of the rifle. It was used for the first time in 1967. The forerunner was the Finnish M62, which was derived from an AK47.
This Galil has a under-spring-pressure, movable latch. A movable fire selector, a trigger that is still loose and a collapsible butt/ and visor.
The cartridge holder is stuck by means of a welding point.
The weapon looks great. It's a used weapon, visibly, but I like that myself. From the outside no signs of deactivation can be seen.
Personally, I think the Galil is one of the better assault rifles to date. The weight, length, calibre, functionality is perfect in my eyes. The weapon is comfortable in the hand and the visor is very nice to shoot with. As a reason, the Galil is still widely used in contemporary conflicts and more than 25 countries have the Galil as a service weapon in both the army and police units.
Will be carefully packaged and shipped by insured mail.
