Offered, is this PATHE Pathescope 'H' Cine/Movie Camera. Manufactured and marketed in France and England from 1937, the 'H' is a heavy little camera, measuring only 4.5ins x 4ins x 2ins and fabricated from pressed steel. It comes in good/used condition and winds up okay, but doesn't operate the motor, although this may be the button which needs adjustment, because it has worked recently, but....? The body is in good cosmetic condition and is finished in a black 'stoved' paint effect. The f1.9 20mm Berthiot lens appears clear and can be screwed out from the body. The camera used 9.5mm film, a format popular with Pathe, whilst others favoured the 16mm/8mm format, which continued for years, until the introduction of video-cameras.
