Carved from the precious Hua Xe stone with gilded accents. The portrait is 100% pristine. Height: 48.5 cm. Width: 36 cm. This is a very unique piece and a real eye-catcher for your living room. A very beautiful piece of Chinese culture. This authentically sculpted portrait was hand-carved by Chinese artist Xu Zan Yu in collaboration with the Institute of Chinese Culture. The artwork is crafted in China in the precious Hua Xe stone, completely hand painted and decorated with gilded accents. The portrait is placed on a beautiful black wooden background so that it really comes into its own. The whole is framed in a rosewood frame with brass ornaments on the corners. Depicted is the portrait of Lei Ho Sao, the Provincial King of Guangdong Province, Canton and Guangxi Province during the Ch'ing Dynasty. He is depicted in his ceremonial robe. Lei Ho Sao reigned between 1750 and 1778 during the Ch'ing Dynasty as Imperial General and Provincial King.
