Ovoid vase with a polychrome enamelled décor of a bellowing deer in an autumn lake-scape.
Satin background, painted orange enamelled collar fading to a light yellow on the lower part.
Signed "JOMA" at the bottom of the décor. By the Joseph Bourdieu and Max Durand factory (act. 1927-1947)
Paris, France.
Good overall condition, wear and tear from age and use of the enamel, some traces and stains.
Note the near disappearance of the yellow paint that covered the upper part of the vase. It was painted inside and not on the outside like the rest of the décor.
Very slight chips on the neck. The photos are part of the description.
