Collection of antique Italian ceramics. 1. Biagioli Gubbio plate, numbered 45, made and decorated entirely by hand, by Ceramiche Artistiche Mastro Giorgio /CAM/ of Biagioli. Period: first half of the 20th century, Gubbio Diameter: 23 cm. The plate is in excellent condition, with a hook on the back to hang it. 2. Two Larce Orvieto vases. L.AR.CE. (acronym for Laboratorio Artigianale di Ceramica), was founded in 1964 by highly qualified craftsmen. In beige colour, max. height 23 cm. 3. White vase signed Baffoni Gubbio, height 15 cm, made and decorated entirely by hand. Signed under the base ‘Baffoni Gubbio’. It can be dated back to the early decades of the 20th century. Ingino Baffoni born in Gubbio in 1883. 4. White amphora signed and numbered A24, made of hand-painted ceramic by Giovanni Notari for C.A.M. Gubbio, 1940s, max. height 24 cm. In 1926, Marquis Polidoro Benveduti, in partnership with ceramist Cesare Carlo Faravelli, founded the ‘Vasellari Mastro Giorgio’ artistic majolica factory in Gubbio. Production ceased in 1929, and in 1932 the factory was taken over by Marsilio Biagioli and ceramist Giovanni Notari, who changed the company name to ‘C.A.M.’. In the 1950s, the company became the exclusive property of the Biagioli family, that restored its name ‘Mastro Giorgio’. Please look at the pictures that are an integral part of this description.
