Philips - 561 "fish eye" - Integrated amplifier

Offered is a Philips 22AH561/00R stereo integrated amplifier from 1975, famous as the “fisheye amplifier” because of the special output meters. The top of the amplifier is black ash veneer, the side panels are cherry wood. Connections for microphone and headphones are behind a small folding panel in the front. Overall, despite its age this 561 still looks nice, with the exception of some minor damage to the front. The inside of this amplifier is fully original, the light bulbs (6V, 44mA) excepted. On the outside there are some changes made. The volume knob, the contour and the rumble/scratch knobs have been replaced. Also the side panels are renewed. The 561 was built in a period when Philips did not save on the quality of the parts. Only discrete elements, a nice chassis and easy to service (light bulbs). The power supply is adjustable to various voltages. The preference is now 240V on most places, certainly in an environment with solar panels. Specifications, user experiences and service manuals are easy to find on the internet.
