The PAULIN precision altimeter is a highly accurate aneroid barometer commonly used by surveyors. Produced by the company C.E. Ericsson in Stockholm, circa 1930. The accuracy of this temperature-compensated altimeter is around 1.0 m. In the measurement setting, the central button is rotated until the needle indicator is in the middle. The main needle then indicates the height and/or air pressure on the circular scale of the silver-plated dial. The instrument can be adjusted to the actual height. To prevent damage to the instrument, the instrument's measurement system must be locked during transport by turning the central button to the left. The PAULIN is in good, working condition. Original leather case with felt lining. The leather and buckles are intact. Air pressure measurement range: 66.3 - 78.2 cm Mercury Range of height: 0 - 1400 m Numbered: 3522 Dimensions: Diameter 140 x height 90 mm Weight 955 grams.
