Luxman - M-300 - Class A - Class AB - Power Amplifier

Depending on market and timeframe, the 300 combo was annouced as the “New Laboratory Series”, after the already legendary models 5m21, 5m20, 5l15, m-12, b-12, selling the m-300 at a price higher than all the models described. Price-wise a step below the C-5000A / M-4000A combo but part of Stereo Sound's "Best Product" section in the winter of 1981 nevertheless. I think Tim De Paravicini didn't work on the lux exterior design, but the lettering is still burned into the metal and it looks like them will be there forever. Class A power : 2x 40W (20Hz...20Khz, 8 Ohm, 0,005% THD) Class AB power : 2x 150W (20Hz...20Khz, 8 Ohm, 0,008% THD) Rated I.M. : 0,005% (Class A) 0,008% (Class AB) Slew rate : 180V/µsec. (Class A) 200V/µsec. (Class AB) Frequency response : 10Hz...100Khz (-1dB) Inputs : 450mV / 50kOhm (Class A) 900mV / 50kOhm (Class AB) S/N ratio : > 115dB (Class A, IHF-A) > 120dB (Class AB, IHF-A) Residual noise : 30µV Damping factor : 120 (1Khz, 8 Ohm) Protection circuits : (speaker protection) excessive current sensing (amplifier protection) Dimensions : 47,8 x 48,4 x 21,4cm Weight : 30kg. I have changed the speaker connections because one of them was broken (I include the original old connections next to the power amp). Except for this small change all the rest is original! The photographs are part of the description. Customs fees will be paid by buyers from countries that require them.
