In 1985-1986, the very last Beetles were brought from Mexico to Germany by VW, called Anniversary Beetles. So an Anniversary Beetle is the last officially sold VW Beetle and at the same time a real anniversary model, because the Beetle was 50 years old at the time. Of this special edition Beetle only 3150 units were produced and the very last one is in the Volkswagen Museum in Wolfsburg, Germany. Features of the Jubilee Beetle: - Green tinted glass all round - Special dark gray metallic paint - Anniversary Wheels - Special striping on the underside of the doors - Special coating - Four-spoke sports steering wheel - Fabric upholstery of the entire interior - Seats with loose head supports in fabric and leather - Logos "50 Jahre Käfer" on the hood and side - 1,200 cc engine This Anniversary Beetle was neatly repainted at some point in the past. The odometer reading is 82 631 km. At the last MOT (11-2015) the odometer reading was 82 618 km. In December, January and February the Beetle was not driven. This car has a Dutch registration and MOT is valid until 5 Nov 2016 (NL). Chassis, bodywork and mechanics are in good condition. This Beetle has one bad spot behind the front bumper (see photo) and the paint has been retouched on the Paravan (see photo). Light rust present in the seam of the boot. This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Middelbeers, the Netherlands. Bids do not include transportation or export, unless indicated otherwise. This is a used vehicle.
