This carbine is extremely rare, only around 30 of them were made!!
This one is number 23.

Henri Calixte Loron was born in Versailles in 1843. He apprenticed in Cheratte (Belgium) and trained in Saint Etienne (France).
He became an arquebusier in Saint Etienne until 1881.
He is the inventor of the tap loading system whose patent was filed in France and Belgium in January 1880.
This patent was later copied and re-filed as a patent by BSA on its 1906 Lincoln Jeffries air gun model, which was widely used especially for school rifles and other air gun models only.
It works with 6 mm rimfire ammunition.
