The Czechoslovakian artist Alfons Mucha is one of the founders of Art Nouveau, which is characterized by the graceful lines, fresh pastel colours and sumptuous patterns. Art Nouveau was popular in the early 20th Century and made Mucha a real star in Paris. During the last world war, his work was banned by the Nazis for political reasons, and only exhibited in Prague again in 1967. Here on offer are four beautifully finished coloured mirror prints which are in perfect condition and originally made as a tribute. In the meantime they have become sought after and rare collector's items. The mirrors represent the seasons, each personified by a graceful model.
