The Helio-Lux is actually a Tesla coil. Nikolas Tesla invented this device about 150 years ago, but it became especially popular around 1900 because the electric forces would have a healing effect on man. What was seen then as a medical miracle was only after 1950 exposed as quackery. Operation: The device can be connected to 110V or 220V (see button) whereby a Tesla coil is stimulated with Argon gas-filled electrodes of high voltage supplies. This gas glows purple, pink, orange or white and the electrons can then be safely carried to conductive objects such as human skin. The coil frequency and amperage are adjustable and vary between not palpable to fairly strong shocks. The Helio-Lux is in looks good condition, but the wiring is old.
