A very beautiful art nouveau vase from the early 20th century, performed with rich floral motifs in the best tradition of the Belgian and French art nouveau. The vase is finished with a decoration in barbotine, in tints of green. Bottom of the vase has a shape number ('1346'), as well as the stamp of the known Faïencerie de Fives-Lille, founded around 1864 in the eponymous village by Gustave De Bruyn from Leuven (Belgium). The style also fits perfectly to other work of 'Fives-Lille' from the early 20th century. She can therefore be attributed with certainty to this ceramics studio, known for her high-quality products. The vase is in very good condition. Just a hairline noticeable at the top. This is mostly noticeable along the inside but is not apparent from the outside. There she entirely dissolves in the light craquelure of the glaze. The vase is 28.5 cm high and has a diameter up to 16 cm. The weight is about is 1.16 kg so please take 2-5 kg into consideration in regard of shipping!
