History of the event:
The postage issue is dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine, who are defending the sacred Ukrainian land, and to those who gave their lives defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. Postage block "Glory to the Defence and Security Forces of Ukraine! Offensive Guard" continues the "Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!" issue presented by Ukrposhta in 2022 and contains postage stamps depicting soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine. In February 2023 the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine began forming volunteer assault brigades called the "Offensive Guard" as part of the National Guard, the National Police, and the State Border Guard Service, which will, in particular, liberate the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
