A solid buff-brown pottery standing figure. With a whistle incorporated in the top of his head. Depicted wielding a sling shot and carrying a figure on his back, having a human face, standing on four legs and having a round feathered tail. Main figure wearing a banded headdress with chin strap and loin cloth. Colima. Mexico. 100 B.C.-250 A.D.
Dimensions: 11,20 cm.
Condition: Overall surface encrustation.Intact, in excellent condition. A very rare example.
Provenance: Acquired in auction in USA in 2017. Ex D.H. private collection - Arkansas, USA 1950's-60's.

be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union
are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the
buyer's expense. These export fees are fixed on the final auction price
and the tax rate is not applied directly on the total value of the item
to be exported, but rather the different percentages by sections are
applied to it:
- Up to 6,000 euros: 5%./ From 6.001 to 60.000 euros: 10%.
