This unique product is the result of a successful cooperation between the National Bank of Poland and the Polish Security Printing Works. The product commemorates the 200th th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Polish composer and pianist - Fryderyk Chopin The banknote has a size of 138 x 69 mm, a face value of PLN 20 and a limited mintage of up to 120,000 pieces. The obverse of the banknote shows a landscape with characteristic willows and a fragment of the sheet music of Etude in F minor, Op. 10 No. 9. The reverse shows a portrait of Fryderyk Chopin seen in profile. On the left side of the banknote there is a family manor house, and on the right side there is a reproduction of the first edition of the Mazurka in B flat major, Op. 7 No. 1 with the pianist's autograph. The face value of the banknote is also shown on the reverse.
