Antique Maori presentation paddle (Hoe) the finest quality and depth to the surface carving showing various Tiki & stylised beasts, various shell inlayed eyes, Dating from the 19th century, superb colour and patina, serious collectors object. I have a added a picture of a similar paddle (looks like it was carved by the same Maori craftsmen that was sold at an auction some months ago.) Measuring: 92 cm in lenght by 9 cm wide. Provenance: UK art dealer.
