Fantastic overview about photobooks - in perfect condition.
A conversation with Philip Aarons and a photo-essay by Gerhard Steidl including a contribution by Robert Frank. Afterword by Hasse Persson. In 1941, the Swedish photographer and industrialist Victor Hasselblad (1906-1978) founded a camera factory in Göteborg, Sweden where he developed the Hasselblad Camera System. Victor Hasselblad and his wife, Erna, donated their entire fortune for the creation of a foundation for the promotion of research and education in the natural sciences and photography. The Erna and Victor Hasselblad Foundation was established in 1979. In addition to awarding substantial grants in the natural sciences and its funding of the Hasselblad Center, the Foundation, for instance, annually presents the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography, to "a photographer recognized for major achievements."
