Mercedes-Benz - 240 D (W123) - NO RESERVE - 1979

Mercedes 240 D W123 from 1979 in nice condition. The car was bought new in 1979 in Greece and has serviced many years as a local taxi. The car always has been well maintained. I bought the car in 2018 and have converted to a Greek old-timer, for which I have a special license plate on the car which allows me to drive it and no MOT is needed. The car has an annual checkup at the local garage and drives perfectly. I am selling the car due to the lack of time to use it. The car is stored in a in house garage. Please contact me for a specific video or live viewing. I don't know if the motor is the original factory fitted. According the paperwork, I have from the car, the motor is 240D, but there is a chance which we can not clarify that the motor is not a factory fit but replaced by one of the previous owners. -Originally sold and bought in Greece -Beautiful and unusual color combination -Very original -Original factory engine HISTORY This unit was originally sold in Greece and serviced many years as a taxi. The history of the vehicle as well as the previous owners are unknown, but it is known that the vehicle has always been in a garage and that all the elements are original. INTERIORS All original with 5-speed manual transmission, Radio working correctly. Leatherette interior in good condition. BODYWORK Original color, the vehicle has undergone a paint restoration a few years ago. MECHANICS In good working order, classic tires. The car has been serviced recently. It is recommended to view and inspect the vehicle in Zakynthos, Greece, prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment afterwards. Please contact Catawiki to arrange a viewing appointment.
