A magnificent antique Chinese porcelain imperial quality transition bulbous vase with a continuous decoration of excellent painted Buddha's hands, an insect in flight above three objects and grasses, executed in a most beautiful underglaze blue and white. A beautiful model in a deep layered colour blue, as often seen in 'high transitional pieces'. The quality of this vase is mind-blowing, on the bottom a recessed foot. Handcrafted in ancient China during the very late Ming dynasty to early Qing dynasty, Chongzhen to Shunzhi period (ca. 1660). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Provenance: Pranger Oriental Art Height: 12,7 centimeter Condition: The object is in very good (mint) condition, minute glaze loss on the middle knob, without any damages or restorations.
