Early Lounge Chair and Ottoman designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, marked with date of delivery 11/7 1975 on the label at the bottom of the ottoman.
Since the production started in 1958, this is an early example of this design classic.
These early chairs were made in beautiful book matched Brazilian rosewood. Probably 99% of these were ordered with black leather upholstery, this set is executed in exquisite chocolate brown leather. Both chair and ottoman are in wonderful all original vintage condition.
The chair and ottoman are both marked with label.
The set is well cared for and has been checked and revitalized in our "Eames" restoration atelier.
