Large - BP Petrol & Oil Enamel Advertising Sign BP was initially registered on April 14, 1909, as the Anglo-Persian Oil Company, Ltd. It was renamed the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, Ltd., in 1935 and changed its name to the British Petroleum Company Limited in 1954. The name British Petroleum Company PLC was adopted in 1982. This old advertising sign shows signs of use and age related wear from display. Measurements: 35 cm Height x 34.5 cm Width x 2 cm Depth. A nice collectable sign.
