Katsuji Fukuda - Practical Photography My Photo Book - 1938

A collection of photographs by Japanese photographer Katsuji Fukuda (1899-1991). In 1921, while working, he began taking photographs with a Vess, and in 1926 won the Ilford Diamond Award at the 1st Japan Photographic Art Exhibition. After that, he continued to produce compositional still life photographs influenced by the Bauhaus, and in 1936, "Camera Diagnosis" serialized in "Asahi Camera" became popular, and many photography guides were published by Katsuji Fukuda. After the war, he released nude works that pursued the beauty of women, and is a solitary photographer who has maintained his own style even though the realism photography movement has become the mainstream of the photography world. This book is a collection of early works published in 1938 before the war, and contains less than 60 illustrations such as portraits, nudes, still life, and landscapes, and captions for each work are also posted on the second half page. At the end of the book, some thoughts during production are also described. It is in relatively good condition for its age. The Japanese Photobook 1912–1990. ( main body have major damage and repairs. There is no problem with reading.)
