For sale is a gorgeous set of twelve (12) cut crystal coasters from Spenzo Amsterdam, in their original box, with a gold sticker on the inside of the lid. The coasters themselves are in excellent condition with minimal wear. The box is still sturdy and intact, but shows some signs of age. The coasters measure 9cm in diameter, 1.5cm high. Spenzo was a porcelain factory and wholesaler on the Geldersekade in Amsterdam. The name means 'S. Polak and Sons'. Not much else is known about this company, except that it was certainly active in the 1930s and 1950s and purchased tableware in Germany and the former Czechoslovakia. These products were marketed under their own brand.
