Table/desk clock - Jaeger LeCoultre - Brass - 1960-1970

A beautiful Jaeger-LeCoultre model 362 desk clock. This clock once was a high-end gift from a Dutch company called ‘van Leeuwen Pijpen’ to celebrate their 40th anniversary in 1964. This beautiful collectors piece is quite rare since the dial wears the company logo and is made in very limited numbers. The clock has a Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 228 manually wound 8-day movement, lever escapement, mono-metallic balance with silvered dial, applied gold coloured numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, the intervening hours with gilt intersecting linear hour indication, aperture for date at 6 o’clock. The gilt brass circular case has a wedge form as you can see on the detailed pictures. The clock has a separate winder and hand setting crown at the case back, a sliding aperture for regulation and a push lever for setting the date. Please look at the pictures since they are part of the description. The clock keeps time well. With it’s width of 12cm, hight of 5.5cm and a weight of 631grams, it is a nice piece on your desk.
