Tristan Tzara (born 1896, Moineşti, Rom.—died December 1963, Paris) Romanian-born French poet and essayist known mainly as the founder of Dada, a nihilistic revolutionary movement in the arts, the purpose of which was the demolition of all the values of modern civilization. Other copies of the book have been sold in international auctions and one copy is present at the Moma Museum in New York. Etching Dimensions composition: 7 5/8 x 5 1/2" (19.3 x 14 cm); sheet: 7 1/2 x 5 3/4" (19 x 14.6 cm) Printer Lacourière, Paris. The book can be viewed privately.
