A fine silver cigar box with domed, hinged lid and cedarwood lining, measuring 18cm in length and weighing 363g, lined to the underside with green sheepskin leather. Stamped to the underside of the foot rim with Danish assay marks for .830 silver, date 1951 and maker´s mark unidentified. Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. A few minimal dents in the lid, not at all noticable but under careful inspection visible on the inside. Overall the box is very presentable and constitutes a stylish and valuable Danish silver mid-century design icon. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
