Tibetan-Burmese Dark Purple Amethyst Necklace Bead Talismans - 20 mm
A lot of 24x dark purple amethyst necklace bead talismans from the ancient Himalayan, Tibetan-Burmese culture.
1st Millennium AD.
In good condition. They have been cleaned in a tumbler,so they surface is shiny and smooth , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming, cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular, enlarged in modern time to make the pieces wearable. Traces of use and age on they surfaces.
Purchased mid 90's in Paris by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
