Gordon's - London Dry Gin - Spring Cap - b. 1950s - 75cl
Old bottle of Gordon's Dry Gin brand. The label is in superb condition, the spring capsule is wrapped in tin.
[To the late King George VI royal warrant, which indicates it's from circa 1952 to 1954/5 or so. It took a while for Queen Elizabeth II to start issuing royal warrants. Not much of a cognac drinker, unlike her father, she did like her gin. So Gordon's certainly received one. Bottled at the welcome export strength of 47%, these are much oilier than contemporary gins. -ES]
