A superb antique French mustard pot with hinged lid, measuring circa 10.5cm in height and weighing 141g, the reticulated sides decorated with medalliions, laurel branches and rose garlands, the lid applied with foliage in low relief. Stamped to the underside with 18th century Paris hallmark and poinçon de décharge used from 1756-1762, maker´s mark unidentified. Condition: Overall very good, no damages or repairs.
