A large fruit bowl / basket with tall, organically shaped handles, measuring 26.5cm in height and weighing 803g, the body partially reticulated and decorated in low relief with poppies. Stamped to the underside with maker´s mark of Urania, Holland. Urania only existed from 1903 to 1910 (in Maastricht) but attracted world renowned designers to its team such as Friedrich Adler and Hans Peter. Condition Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Age-related wear, see pictures. This is not uncommon with Urania items.
