Up for auction is my beautiful vintage rare Mcintosh MC40 power amplifier. I had hoped to one day find a second one and have a set but I'm downsizing now after 20 years and have decided to part with her. She was serviced and partially recapped in 2019 please see the detailed pictures. But I tried to play test her now and got NO RESPONSE from her. She was working 2 years ago. Please note that she will need a qualified valve audio technician to test her for faults. But sadly that is too much for me. I know her new owners will love her. This one was previously owned by the South African government department of health. It was used for audio testing . So She did not have a hard life. Please see pictures for her physical condition.
