Tea cup - Yongzheng 18C Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Teaset Cup Saucer - Porcelain
Description
Sharing with you this fantastic teaset in Famille Rose palette, Yongzheng period. The porcelain is very thinly potted.
Richly hand-painted in Famille Rose enamels with a central peony roundel (symbol of wealth and nobility) against a pink cellwork ground accented by a yellow and green border. Painstaking work and talent were needed to pot, paint and fire these small jewels. Circa 1725-1735.
A real treasure.
Overall Condition: Both Cup and saucer with 1 hairline. Saucer 1 small chip to base rim and cup 1 fritspot to rim. Saucer is slightly warped. Size 10.7x1.8 and 6.7x3.6CM DiametersxHeights
