Ptah God of craftsmen, architects and artists. Often depicted as a mummified man wearing a skullcap and holding a sceptre. Often associated with creation and was believed to have created the world by speaking it into existence. Connected with healing and believed to have the power to cure illnesses and injuries. The main god of the city of Memphis, one of Egypt's earliest capitals, located near present-day Cairo. Some insignificant cracks, otherwise as a bust very well preserved, presumably the entire figurine was broken in antiquity. Rare in this fine style with a beautiful white glazed surface. Fixed on a plexiglass pedestal Height: 4,2 cm. Width: 3,1 cm. From an inventory of a prominent Viennese collector, ex German Auction House. The object will be shipped with an Austrian export license. For buyers outside EU the export license will be issued separately and will take from 1-5 weeks. Please note that we can't interfere this process.
