Two large ceramic Art Deco water jugs, measuring circa 27.5cm and 22cm in height and together weighing just over 3 Kg, molded in the shape of an owl and decorated in monochrome green enamels. Design: Chris van der Hoef for De Kat, Bergen op Zoom 1902-1918. Maker´s mark to the underside of the smaller pitcher, impressed in the clay. Condition The 22cm jug with handle missing, the larger jug with bottom replaced and hande missing. Both with some chips. However, these are rare pieces in this size and in our opinion worthy of restoration. This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
