This is a collection of works by Eikoh Hosoe, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. From avant-garde nudes rich in experimental expression represented by "Otoko to Onna", "Rosasenga", and "Kamaitachi", to documentaries of children such as "Why, Mother, Why? Daido Moriyama, who came to Tokyo to join VIVO through Takeji Iwamiya, ended up becoming Eikoh Hosoe's assistant, and once said, "Hosoe-san was always busy, and often it was just me and Higashimatsu-san in the VIVO office. This book is based on a book written in the 1980's by a U.S. nonprofit organization. This book is the 42nd issue of "Untitled," a series published in the 1980s by the American non-profit organization Friends of Photography, and is a catalog featuring Eikoh Hosoe. The works are presented in chronological order.
