A beautiful Art Deco sculpture of a wise owl, made in Belgium or France in the 1920s/ 1930s. A very finely detailed piece, note how beautifully the feathers are rendered. The eyes are made of glass, lending the sculpture exceptional vividness. Unsigned but a beautifully executed piece with strong presence.

Overall very good condition with small split between the owl and the books and small losses from the corners of the base. A beautiful collector's piece that would add character to any interior.
