Absolut asked Fredrik to depict Sweden as a work of art on our bottle, he wanted to visualize the extreme contrasts of our seasons. Cold and warm. Light and dark. Summer and winter. Absolut Svea clearly tastes like red apple, which reflects the Swedish summer, and leaves a hint of ginger, which is often used in pastries in the long and cold winters. In this combination, warm spiciness meets fresh acidity. As contrasting as Sweden. -Absolut Berlin The American artist Zhivago Duncan lives in Berlin. When Absolut confirmed our cooperation with him, Absolut hoped for one of his chaotic and anarchic works of art. And Absolut were not disappointed in the least. Duncan's design transforms the iconic Absolut bottle into a window that overlooks one of Berlin's most striking monuments - the TV tower. The bottle shows an enlarged image of the famous sphere of the TV tower with a quote from Dick Flash in graffiti style: "It's not easy to always be a rebel." The perfect expression for the spirit of a creative city that has long been at the forefront of contemporary art and culture. The color palette refers to Duncan's own experiences in Berlin: gray for the old cement buildings, green for the rich city forests, turquoise for the oxidation of the old statues, cadmium yellow for the golden bricks during a sunset in Berlin and pink for the sublime sunrise after a long night in this city with its people. Duncan has never had a problem testing and redefining the boundaries of his artistic expression. Absolut are completely with him. This cooperation was very special for Absolut. -Absolut Polakom For our new country-specific limited edition, Absolut were inspired by what makes the country of Poland unique. It is difficult not to be fascinated by Poland, because there the passionate pursuit of independence is only surpassed by an even more pronounced sense of common. In order to really capture the essence of modern Poland in a bottle, Absolut worked with Swanski. He gives all his works a very individual look - from graphic design to fashion to painting. The design combines Polish pop culture with retro feeling, citing poster motifs from Warsaw, street demos or club concerts. Polakom. For Poland. From Absolute.
