Antique ca 1900s Austrian wooden sleigh. This unique and handcrafted heavy wooden sleigh features floral and foliate motif carvings and a carved woman figurine at the front, surrounded by two hounds/bears; a seat for a doll behind, and a running board at the back. Iron runners over wooden with ornate iron supports holding the main body. All sides of the sleigh are hand-painted in the naive art style.
This would be great for a studio prop, home decoration, doll display accessory, or just for display.
Despite its age the sleigh is in fairly good condition, with natural signs of use consistent with its age. Dimensions: 79x30x46cm
