Fontana factory built by Tron very good quality - without the original (useless) cardboard box a very rare modelcar today Note the last photo of the real car ... not with this Lot Historic Note the "Carretto Siciliano", (sicilian cart) is the 0086E which left the factory in February 1951 solely as a chassis and engine registered by the Scuderia Marzotto with the license plate VI 20371. To participate in the Giro di Sicilia the Marzottos had a basic bodywork built and, on the bodywork left in bare aluminium, they had bright decorations painted in yellow and turquoise which recalled the decorations of Sicilian carts, hence the characteristic nickname. Paired with Paolo Fontana, Vittorio Marzotto won the 1951 Giro di Sicilia.
