A National Panasonic RF-895L in beautiful condition and is a very high quality radio with amazing sound performance. It is a 12 transistor solid-state radio which receives the Long wave, Medium wave, FM and Shortwave bands. Long wave is 100-400 kHz, Medium band is 520 to 1610 kHz. FM is from 87-108 MHz. Shortwave coverage is from 5.9 to 10 MHz Radio features separate bass and treble controls and a fine tuning knob. It has separate scales and pointers for FM and AM bands. Uncommon features in 1968 It has an internal ferrite rod for MW and LW reception plus a 29" telescopic aerial for SW and FM. Designed to double as a car radio with all the connections on the base to connect in to the car power supply, aerial and speaker circuits when used as a car radio. 5 pin DIN socket for tape recorder in/out. A battery saver switch on the back. Operates with 5 D cells or an external 7.5 volt power supply. New batteries included that will last very long. it has been fully checked and serviced recently, invoices included, and works very well. Of course it is more than 50 years old radio and has some wear on it. There are some markings on the back probably from a car mount.
