A bamana head mask from Mali with an antelope crestted atop the head, the face lightly carved with a prominent nose and mouth, the large eyes opened ina slit and have crows feet on either side signifying the age; the ears triangular and poke out over the head unlike human ear. The antelope crested on top has its feet planted in the head body carved with geometric shapes, the horns have carvingd on top of them. Signs of use and minor fracture from age. Certificate of Origin and Provenance. #parisapartment
