A Gense (Sweden) manufactured 1950s-1970s mid century modern stainless steel basic cutlery set for 9 people, model Thebe designed by Folke Arström in 1944, consisting of:
9 large knives
9 large forks
11 large spoons
2 butter(?) knives
All pieces marked Gense and 18-08 Stainless. This refers to steel with 18% Chrome and 8% Nickel composition, with the main component being iron. 18-08 is a very hard steel variety.
Condition: Overall very good, small chip to the handle of one knife, see picture. Minor wear commensurate with age and use.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
