Gold Sovereign with Queen Victoria's Jubilee portrait, dated 1890,. The absence of a mintmark denotes an English mint (London Mint).
For being 134 years old, the condition of the coin is excellent, and the very faint (gorgeous) black patina that can be seen on the pound, given by the small amount of copper present (about 8.3 percent) adds to its beauty and numismatic value, as shown in the photographs
On the reverse a rendering of Saint George slaying the Dragon.
