This astonishing Tête-à-tête Service is designed to meet the expectations of the most pretentious ones. Collector items for sophisticated Tête-à-tête ! This pattern was first created in 1850 for the Rothschild family of Europe and is considered to be the epitome of hand painting on porcelain. Twelve different motifs portray a 19th century tale about Baroness Rothschild who lost her pearl necklace in the garden of her Vienna residence. Several days later it was found by her gardener, who saw birds playing with it in a tree. The set includes Ribbon Tray, Tea Pot, two tea cups and two saucers, one sugar bowl with handles and one milk jug. All the pieces are in excellent to pristine condition, NO chips , NO cracks and NO repairs, Please see the pictures as they are part of the description.
