The catalogue mainly features works by Shomei Tomatsu, who was born in Nagoya, starting with his early works taken while a student at Aichi University, "Flood and Japanese" set in Isshiki Town, Aichi Prefecture, and "Pottery Town" set in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, which he was involved in producing while working for Iwanami Photo Bunko led by Yonosuke Natori.
