15x Circulated Newfoundland Silver Coins: 4x 5 Cents (1896, 1908, 1929, 1941) 6x 10 Cents (1938, 1940, 1941, 1912, 1943, 1945) 3x 20 Cents (3x 1912) 2x 25 Cents (1917, 1919) 14 coins are .925 silver, the 1945 coin is .800 silver,. All coins are circulated. The 5 Cent coins show heavier wear with bends and faults. Newfoundland was a British Colony until 1949, at which time it joined the Canadian Confederation and became a Canadian Province.
