1890-1900 - France - "Allegory of Love" - Exceptional ornamentation Large Portico clock Gilt bronze and white marble, sun balance with Caryatid protome.
- Domed polychrome flowered dial with its bronze door and curved glass, surmounted by a cup/vase with two ears of flowering vines, at the top comes out a large peony, and below the movement, a large floral drape with two pendants, in pure Louis XVI style.
- Stunning HUGE Cartel / Clock / Pendulum
in Golden BRONZE - (original gilding to be cleaned or not) and white marble.
The 8-day key movement works well, strikes the hours and half hours on request, for current use, and may need to be revised by the new purchaser because the date of the last revision is unknown).
Clock delivered complete with its key, its bell and its pendulum.
