WS073 “German (39H) 10.5 Assault Gun” This Assault Gun, built on a French Hotchkiss tank chassis, comes with a 10.5cm moveable howitzer gun and 3 full crew figures, Normandy campaign camouflage and belonging the Wehrmacht’s elite “Panzer Lehr” division. The men who formed this division were selected from the Wehrmacht’s own Armour Training Schools – many were instructors. After the Fall of France in 1940 large amounts of French armoured vehicles fell into German hands. Some of these were used “as is” while others were adapted and modified to suit German needs. This Assault Gun was built on the chassis of a French Hotchkiss tank and mounted a 10.5 cm howitzer gun. Our K&C model comes with 3 crew figures and is painted in Normandy Campaign camouflage and is in the markings of the Wehrmacht’s famous “Panzer Lehr” Division.
